Fund a Bus
Dade Heritage Trust’s Historic Places, Green Spaces program educates K-12 students in Title 1 Schools about Miami’s architectural, environmental, and cultural heritage. We provide complimentary programming and offer a limited number of bus scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your generosity can help us fund a bus so we can continue to offer Florida Curriculum Standards-Based field trips at no cost to students or teachers.
Cape Florida Lighthouse Commemorative Bricks
Celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Cape Florida Lighthouse in 2026 and support Dade Heritage Trust (DHT) by purchasing a Cape Florida Lighthouse commemorative brick.
Constructed in 1825 and located within Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on Key Biscayne, the Cape Florida Lighthouse is one of South Florida’s most iconic and historically significant landmarks. In the 1990s, Dade Heritage Trust played a key role in the complete restoration of the Cape Florida Lighthouse Complex. Now, in 2026, DHT is proud to be a partner in the lighthouse’s bicentennial celebration.
To support ongoing maintenance and special projects at the Lighthouse complex, DHT offers a commemorative brick program. With a $150 donation, you can purchase a handsome engraved red brick paver, personalized with the wording of your choice. Your brick will be permanently installed along the walkways of the Cape Florida Lighthouse Complex, creating a lasting tribute to preservation.
These commemorative bricks are meaningful symbols of your commitment to protecting Miami’s historic places and make thoughtful, enduring gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, memorials, and special milestones.
All brick donors receive a complimentary one-year Dade Heritage Trust membership.
