Join Dade Heritage Trust on this Urban Miami Bike Tour to historic Overtown!
We depart DHT and head through downtown Miami to Overtown, a traditionally African-American neighborhood with significant historic assets. Currently facing enormous change and redevelopment, Dade Heritage Trust is working with the local community to establish a Federal Historic District to ensure preservation of the architectural symbols of the neighborhood’s history.
Ride starts at Dade Heritage Trust at 190 SE 12 Terrace at 10am. Ride your bike, rent a citibike at a nearby kiosk or bring your bike on your vehicle. Street parking is available. Free with required registration. Donations accepted!
