Built in under a year, the iconic Biltmore Hotel opened its doors in January 1926 and has since experienced a fascinating journey through changing uses, near-bankruptcy, and even the threat of demolition. In the 1980s, the City of Coral Gables lovingly restored the landmark to the grandeur we admire today.
Join us for a special centennial bike tour as we ride to the Biltmore, where DHT Executive Director Christine Rupp will lead a guided visit and share the remarkable history behind one of South Florida’s most celebrated historic hotels.
