March 9: A Walk Through Our Neighborhoods – How Shenandoah Became Little Havana

NWD Projects, GirlTrek Overtown, and Dade Heritage Trust are building bridges with “A Walk Through Our Neighborhoods”, a series of interactive environmental walks through three of Miami’s most historic communities, culminating on April 20th with National Water Dance at Biscayne Nature Center on Key Biscayne.  Join us as we honor our unique cultures and shared histories and celebrate our interconnectedness. Join us on March 9 at 8am for “How Shenandoah Became Little Havana”, A walk with Keith Ivory, local native Miamian tour guide historian. Meet in the parking lot at 1400 SW 8th Street behind the McDonalds.
