Ken Wilde has become a driving force in preserving and sharing the history of Miami Springs and its surrounding communities. A passionate historian, educator, and advocate, his commitment to historical research, public education, and community engagement has had an immeasurable impact on local heritage preservation.
Through his leadership, writing, exhibits, and outreach, Ken has safeguarded the city’s stories and inspired future generations to value their historical roots. He serves as a board member of both the Miami Springs Historical Society and the Curtiss Mansion, and as Vice Chair of the City of Miami Springs Historic Preservation Board. His work extends beyond city limits, reaching a growing global audience and ensuring that the cultural heritage of Miami Springs is not only remembered but also celebrated.
Ken’s dedication perfectly reflects the mission of Dade Heritage Trust, and we are proud to honor his remarkable contributions with a 2025 Preservation Award.
