Dade Heritage Trust is proud to present a 2025 Art of Preservation Award to Malcolm Lauredo, a native Miamian and dedicated multidisciplinary historian who has devoted his young career to documenting, preserving, and reimagining the city’s rich, layered history. Born and raised in Miami, Malcolm studied history at Florida International University and has served in roles including founding Director of Historic Research at the Coral Gables Museum, exhibition designer for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Kress Interpretive Fellow at Vizcaya, and research consultant for FIU’s Institute of Environment.
Accepting the award on his behalf is Susan Lauredo.
