DESCRIPTION:Once the site of Orchid Jungle\, the Hattie Bauer Preserve is home to rare plant life and historic structures.  In this 90 minute guided tour through an extensive\, forested trail system\, you will learn about Orchid Jungle in its heyday\, what caused its downfall\, and the efforts of the Parks Department to date.  Meet at the Preserve’s front gates.  Look for the Dade Heritage Trust tent.   Please wear closed-toed shoes\, have insect repellant\, sun shade and drinking water.  \nClick here to register – scroll down the page for links!
