2025 Royal Poinciana Festival Guided Tour of South Miami Avenue and Simpson Park

In celebration of the 2025 Royal Poinciana Festival, join Dade Heritage Trust and the Tropical Flowering Tree Society for this lovely walk to the City of Miami’s Simpson Park and historic South Miami Avenue, lined with Miami’s signature Royal Poinciana trees. You’ll also meet Steve Pearson, former director of the University of Miami’s Gifford Arboretum and past president of the Tropical Flowering Tree Society. Steve will talk about the Royal Poinciana and its significance in South Florida. Hope to see you! Be sure to bring a water bottle and wear comfy shoes.
